Privacy
Our short, honest privacy policy.

The short version
Sprout Kids does not collect personal information about you or your child. There is no account, no email, no login. No data about how your child uses the app is sent to us in a way that identifies them or their device.
What we do not collect
- Names, ages, emails, phone numbers, or accounts.
- Location, contacts, photos, or microphone audio.
- Behavioral or advertising identifiers.
- Third-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Meta SDK.
What we do receive
When you make a purchase (yearly subscription via Apple App Store or Google Play), we receive an anonymous device identifier from the store along with the purchase receipt, only so we can confirm the purchase is valid and unlock the app for that device.
The app may also send anonymous, aggregated counters such as "lesson completed" — without any user or device id — so we can see, for example, that 30% of free-tier kids reach a particular lesson. These counters cannot identify your child.
Children's privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)
Sprout Kids is designed for children. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the relevant European requirements for under-16 users (GDPR-K). Because we do not collect personal information from children (or anyone), no parental consent forms are required to use the app.
Purchases on Apple App Store and Google Play are gated by the parent's store account and must be authorized by a parent.
No advertising
We do not show ads, and we do not allow third parties to show ads inside Sprout Kids. We also do not share, sell, or rent any information to advertisers, brokers, or marketing partners, because we do not collect any.
Data location & retention
Purchase records are stored on a server we operate (not a third-party cloud) and are kept only as long as needed to honor your subscription or fulfill legal/tax requirements.
